Residential Mortgage Loan Originator / Processor

This position is a key role in the origination and processing of Residential Mortgage loans for a team of originators across the Town & Country Bank system. Role will have title of Assistant Vice President and will be officed in our Kearney facility.  Activities will run the entire spectrum of home loan origination include accepting applications, meeting with customers for prequalifications, signing disclosures, closing and handling questions, setting and locking rates with secondary market purchasers, preparing disclosures and loan documents using Encompass, submitting files with MI and secondary market underwriters, communicating with title insurance companies and realtors, preparing loan requests for in-house and construction loans for approval by loan committee, managing files for other originators, handling post-closing activities and delivering files to secondary market for purchase. Non-residential real estate duties will include occasional origination and documentation of consumer loans, coordinating with branch teammates to ensure branch staffing is adequate, consulting with teammates on a variety of branch banking situations. A successful applicant will be self driven, will have at least three years of banking experience and/or residential mortgage support/origination experience, and will exhibit the character, financial management skills and time management skills expected of a financial professional.  References, credit report, and criminal history will be reviewed. This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
