Wire / ACH Lead

Job Description

Coordinates and overseas the day-to-day activities of ACH/Wire processing. Responsible for ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and assists with the resolution of complex issues or discrepancies. Trains and develops team members and ensures staff are up to date with regulatory changes and operational procedures. Serves as subject matter expert and provides support to all team members who perform ACH/Wires.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily ACH/Wire processing activities, ensuring they are compliant with internal controls, NACHA rules and anti-money laundering requirements.
• Oversee digital banking ACH/Wires. Set up new customers in digital banking ACH.
• Double check wires from all branches ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Managing cutoff times, filing submissions and reconciliation to ensure timely settlement.
• Update Schedule F and board reporting
• Training staff in wires and ACH processing
• Teller duties during busy times
• NSF backup
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 – 5 years banking experience
• Experience in bank operations, payment processing or treasury services
• Knowledge of ACH and wire transfer systems
• Knowledge of compliance and regulations
• Experience in fraud prevention detection
