Join Our Team as a Compliance Officer

Join our team as a Compliance Officer and play a critical role in ensuring our organization meets all regulatory and policy standards while supporting a culture of accountability and excellence. This role serves as a key liaison between departments, leadership, and regulatory entities, while also educating employees on compliance updates and best practices.
What We’re Looking For:
- Conduct comprehensive compliance audits across all departments
- Acting as the main contact during external exams
- Preparing detailed reports with findings and recommendations for the Board of Directors
- Collaborate with departments to implement and maintain compliance standards
- Train and educate staff on updates or changes to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Report compliance violations to the CEO
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date policies aligned with federal and state regulations
- Resolve compliance-related issues promptly and efficiently
- Ensure adherence to all bank security procedures
- Assist with regulatory and compliance training initiatives
What You Bring:
- Associate’s degree (or higher) in Finance, Banking, or related field
- 5 years or more of bank compliance experience
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards
- Ability to interpret laws and communicate requirements effectively
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Strong verbal, written, and public speaking skills
- High ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and banking software systems
- Strong problem-solving, reasoning, and multitasking abilities
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, courteous, and team-focused approach
