Customer Service Representative- The Bank of Clarks in Clarks, Nebraska is seeking an employee who will continue to add value to our bank’s future.  Bank of Clarks is known for being a customer driven family-owned community bank with banking locations in Clarks, Silver Creek, and Columbus, Nebraska.  We are seeking someone who is outgoing and energetic with excellent customer service skills. Primary duties include processing deposits and pay out funds in accordance with bank procedures, recording banking transactions accurately and performing balancing procedures for each day’s operations while providing excellent customer service. This full-time hourly position is Monday through Friday.  Other sample job duties would include (but not limited to): Receiving cash and checks for deposit, verifying amounts, verifying check endorsements, cashing checks for customers in accordance with bank policies, cash balancing at end of workday and balancing cash and checks against computer records at end of their shift, preparing cashier’s checks, and money orders as requested. Explains bank services and charges to customers. Assists customers in opening accounts (Checking, Savings, CD’s, IRA’s, HSA’s).and general customer service. Process the renting, accessing and closing of safe deposit boxes. Assist in balancing the ATM machines.

Qualifications: Customer Service skills – basic computer skills including 10 key calculators.  Education and Experience: High School Diploma (GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) previous banking experience and bilingual in Spanish and English preferred but not required, the Bank of Clarks would train the right applicant.
