Loan Officer

Homestead Bank is seeking an enthusiastic outgoing individual for a newly created full-time General Loan Officer in our Chadron location. This position makes and services all types of loans including commercial, consumer, real estate, and agricultural loans. Under the senior lender the Loan Officer interviews loan applicants, judges risk, and may also appraise farm properties as security for loans. The General Loan Officer keeps abreast of agricultural loan trends and may also coordinate collection efforts.

Minimum of three years of agricultural lending experience and/or bachelor degree in agricultural finance, business administration or economics. Successful applicant will be expected to develop a $5M loan portfolio over a three-year time period.
