The position could be located at any Heartland Bank Branch, with travel to the Geneva headquarters expected on an “as needed” basis.
What is the role of Operations Application Support Specialist?
The Operations Application Support Specialist understands existing and emerging technology for deposit operations and other banking matters. Responsibilities includes analyzing needs and assisting in the maintenance of the Bank’s computer systems to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of products and services, while working with the core vendor to implement new products or services or address issues.
What will you do as Operations Application Support Specialist?
This position manages the installation of core banking software releases and provides training to ensure a knowledgeable staff. The position assists customers and associates to actively support the Bank’s day-to-day operations by recognizing, researching and resolving issues and answering questions about products and services. The person in this role will also regularly participate in process improvements to streamline operations, reduce costs and increase productivity.
