The primary duties are to provide loan support to loan officers, prepare loan documents, verify and gather required loan documentation, process loan payments and court filings.  Assist customers with opening and servicing accounts.  Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and directing all customers to appropriate staff.

Essential Functions: 

  • Answer incoming customer calls; give rates, account balances, CD’s and loan balances and loan payoffs and greet customers
  • Greet and refer customers to appropriate staff
  • Input loan application information on system
  • Verify insurance coverage and send notices to customers when insurance is due
  • Assemble and compile documents for loan closings, such as title abstracts, insurance forms, loan forms, and tax receipts
  • Track and maintain titles, insurance and payments
  • Confirm final title policies on closed loans
  • Create and maintain all loan files
  • Process loan payments and disbursements
  • Request verification of employment, deposits, assets and other documentation
  • Open New Accounts (Checking, Savings, CD’s, IRA’s, HSA’s) including verification and entry of customer information
  • Order debit cards, checks, foreign currency and endorsement stamps
  • Educate customers on available services such as; internet banking, bill pay, courtesy coverage, etc.
  • Open Safety deposit boxes
  • All other duties as assigned

 

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Two years of banking and/or loan experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Effective communication skills; written and verbal
  • Time Management and Prioritization skills
  • Minimum 50 WPM typing speed
  • Mathematical aptitude
  • Strong customer service skills

 

Education/Training:

High School Diploma (GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) required

Status/Standard Schedule: Hourly full time position Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
