Ag Loan Officer (Ord/Burwell, NE)

Pathway Bank is a community bank with deep roots in agriculture. We’re hiring a loan officer to serve agricultural and commercial customers throughout the Burwell and Ord areas and build new relationships. Compensation includes the potential for loan incentives, performance-based bonuses, and a company-provided vehicle, depending on portfolio performance. You’ll develop and manage an agricultural and commercial loan portfolio, with training and support based on your experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building customer relationships to meet lending, deposit, and service needs
• Understanding customers’ operations, cash flow, and financing needs to provide practical lending guidance 
• Analyzing credit and financial information to structure sound loans
• Monitoring portfolio performance, credit quality, and risk
• Growing the portfolio, deposits, and use of bank services
• Collaborating with team members and participating in community activities

· Bachelor’s degree in business, business administration, agriculture, finance, accounting or related area preferred, or equivalent work experience.

·  Agricultural lending experience and knowledge of farming and ranching operations are highly preferred. 

·  2+ years of experience in agribusiness, lending, banking, financial services, or a related field required. 

· Ability to build strong working relationships within the organization and develop professional relationships with customers and business associations.
