We’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused Mortgage & Consumer Loan Officer to join our team and play a key role in guiding members through their home ownership and personal lending journeys.

Position Summary
The Mortgage & Consumer Loan Officer is responsible for originating, evaluating, and approving mortgage and consumer loan applications. This individual will work closely with customers to understand their needs, explain lending options, and provide excellent service from application to closing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Originate and process mortgage loans, personal loans, auto loans, and other consumer lending products.
  • Assist customers in understanding loan programs, interest rates, and repayment options.
  • Conduct thorough credit and financial analyses to determine loan eligibility.
  • Ensure compliance with lending regulations, internal policies, and underwriting guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with realtors, builders, and community partners to generate referrals.
  • Meet or exceed production goals while delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Support cross-selling of other bank products and services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of lending experience in mortgage and/or consumer loans.
  • Strong knowledge of loan products, underwriting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and generate business.
  • NMLS registration or ability to obtain required licensing.
