Deposit Specialist Systems – Grand Island or Lincoln Market

This position assists the VP of system with projects as directed.  A pro-active leader for change that utilizes the current and new applications and systems within the organization.

Essential Functions: 

  • Maintain and update documentation based on recommendations from Management. 
  • Deploy, test and train new/upgrades within the deposit and electronic applications. Communicate appropriate changes to affected personnel, including processing banks.
  • Implement, monitor, test, train and complete projects within timelines given by management.  Verify that all facets of the project are working seamlessly. 
  • Provide assistance to administration as requested.
  • Serve on various committees.
  • Enforce compliance with standards/procedures.
  • Streamline and standardize processes, while coordinating with other departments.
  • Validate and resolve any balance discrepancies.
  • Provide back up for other positions as directed by supervisor.
  • Maintain Employee Security for core and other applications.
  • Provide personnel with required System/network training within the organization.
  • Establish a two way communications between departments and systems.
  • Foster a climate of excellent relations with both internal and external customers.
  • Manage required Work Orders.
  • Schedule/coordinate required meetings.
  • IT Risk Assessment.
  • Business Continuity Plan.
  • IT Related Policies.
  • Vendor Management.
  • Provide information for Internal and External Audits.
  • Provide information for Examinations/Examiners.
  • Provide support for the organizations software.
  • Support Mobile Devices.
  • Schedule needed maintenance on printers.
  • Oversee Surveillance cameras.
  • Oversee Video Equipment at noted locations.
  • Oversee Business Process Manager
  • Oversee Integrated Teller
  • Oversee Zoom Phone system
  • Oversee Access Control
  • Training staff as needed
  • Assist in personnel moves to Offices, buildings, etc.
  • Responsible for internal controls in the Systems area of the Technology Department

 

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Retail Banking Experience
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Deposit Operations experience
  • Excellent Communication skills to interact with others to resolve issues.
  • Accurately analyze and troubleshoot issues and problems.
  • Good organizational skills

  • Leadership
  • Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations

 

Education/Training:

Bachelor’s Degree in related field and/or 4+ years of related experience.

Status/Standard Schedule:

Salary position generally Monday through Friday.  Will require evenings and weekends depending on program upgrades and project schedules.
