The primary responsibilities include:
Managing and expanding a $20 million portfolio of both new and existing clients in Agricultural and Business Banking. The position requires acquiring new customers through referrals and actively seeking quality business opportunities. As the main point of contact for client inquiries, the individual must deliver outstanding customer service. Additionally, the role involves identifying and pursuing new lending opportunities within the target market while utilizing industry expertise and networking to generate leads that enhance the lending portfolio. Analyzing the financial statements, cash flow, credit history, and collateral of potential clients is essential for assessing creditworthiness and determining suitable lending structures. Furthermore, evaluating and managing credit risk is crucial, which includes monitoring clients' financial performance and market conditions to make timely recommendations and adjustments.
Secondary Responsibilities and Duties Include:
Collaborating with credit analysts to develop comprehensive credit proposals that adhere to internal lending policies and regulatory standards. Additionally, it involves working in close coordination with various internal teams, such as credit analysts, loan processing, and compliance, to facilitate a smooth lending process and deliver exceptional client service.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline is preferred but not required. Candidates must be open to residing in or within a 40-mile radius of Loup City, NE. A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in lending, relationship management, or a comparable position is required. The role demands excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, along with the capacity to work independently, prioritize effectively, and achieve lending objectives. Proficiency in financial analysis tools, credit scoring models, and the Microsoft Office Suite is necessary. Familiarity with lending regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices is also important. Lastly, candidates should demonstrate strong ethical values and a commitment to client confidentiality.
Relationships:
The individual will report directly to the President, ensuring that all functions and job responsibilities are met effectively. This role involves significant interaction with customers, the public, and the community.
