GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Treasury Management Operations professional is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operational aspects of the Treasury Management department. They collaborate with customers, prospective customers, loan officers and other bank personnel to support new business and strengthen existing customer relationships.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Provides a full range of professional, technical and general support to customers and bank personnel. Including responding to customer inquiries, requests and troubleshooting issues.
  2. Collects customer information, prepares contracts and documentation for all treasury products and account-related requests. Including CDARS/ICS, new accounts, CD’s, IRA’s and account maintenance. 
  3. Maintains accurate customer files, prepares sales proposals, monitors product usage and system operation. Prepares and distributes monthly reports.
  4. Conducts themselves in a professional manner. Demonstrating respect, responsibility and integrity in their behavior and interactions. Adhering to the business professional dress code, communicating clearly, promptly and effectively with clients and bank personnel. .
  5. Coordinates and executes product implementation of all Treasury products. Performs annual ACH and Remote Deposit Audits.
  6. Responsible for creating and presenting product proposals for existing and prospective clients and actively partners with other bank sales representatives to provide expertise in the treasury management product line and cross selling to existing clients.
  7. Independently resolves problems and seeks guidance when necessary.
  8. Performs a variety of routine daily tasks; reviews reports, prepares correspondence; and participates in special bank projects.
  9. Create and facilitate targeted product training for bank staff members as needed to increase product knowledge and cross selling opportunities.
  10. Assists the Treasury Management team as directed.
  11. Identifies and escalates transactions or information related to suspicious activity to the BSA department. Performs duties according to established bank policies and procedures to comply with bank controls.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of retail, digital and treasury management products and services preferred.
  • Ability to assist with complex client relationships while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Excellent written, oral, and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business conditions and requirements.
  • Ability to handle high volumes of transactions with accuracy and speed.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience with retail, digital or treasury management products in an equivalent position.
