Five Points Bank in Elkhorn is seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Processor. The candidate will provide support to Loan Officers in preparing loan documents, maintaining loan files and processing loan payments.
Job Duties:
- Act as an expert in various loan processing and administrative functions
- Ensure all loan documents are complete, accurate and processed in accordance with approved loan terms and regulatory requirements
- Present loan documents to customer for execution
- Create and track outstanding loan exceptions on tickler system
- Contact relevant parties to collect necessary documentation and order required services
- Process and approve loan transactions
- Track loan portfolio for loan renewal, modification, update, release
- Monitor loan system for accuracy and adherence to policies/procedures
- Maintain in depth understanding of loan portfolios to provide exceptional customer service while safeguarding the Bank
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, time management, ability to work independently
- Effective communication skills; written and verbal
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
- General office skills: emailing, faxing, scanning, typing, copying, filing, phone skills, etc.
Education and Experience:
- Five years loan processing experience required.
- Experience with ITI/Fiserv/Laser Pro preferred.
- High School Diploma (GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) required. College level courses and/or degree preferred.
Standard Schedule: Full Time hourly position Monday thru Friday (8 am -5 pm).
