Description

The Assistant Marketing/Digital Media’s role is to assist in implementing marketing strategies by helping to develop various campaigns, programs, and material essential for the growth of the bank.  Your job in this role is to help in the creation and implementation of all media strategies.  Your primary duties involve helping to develop multi-platform media plans, overseeing digital marketing efforts, and planning content.  You will also be responsible for development and maintenance of informational materials in print, on the bank’s website, blogs, social media campaigns along with other materials.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze internal data and information to target specific customer segments.
  • Ensuring digital marketing efforts align with the company’s brand identity and business objectives
  • Tracking of marketing trends and competition
  • Gather and assemble textual, video and image content promoting the bank and bank events for dissemination on digital media platforms, including but not limited to, website and social media platforms.
  • Research audience preferences and discover current trends
  • Improve the quality of websites, mobile sites, and apps
  • Help to create engaging text, image, print and video content
  • Develop innovative and creative marketing and media content across all media platforms
  • Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new products and events
  • Stay up to date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
  • Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries
  • Help to develop an optimal posting schedule, considering print/web traffic and customer engagement metrics
  • Help with special events.

Knowledge, Experience and Education

  • Expertise in multiple social media platforms
  • Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Marketing, New Media, or Advertising. Experience in the use of online networking sites and the marketing field.
  • Knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video)
  • Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
  • Proficient in standard Office software applications

Status/Standard Schedule

  • Schedule is usually 40 hours/week Monday through Friday. There may be occasional evenings and weekends depending on Marketing activities and event schedules.
