JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for providing support to the Treasury Management Sales (TMS) team and enhancing the treasury management experience for our clients.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Provide Support for Treasury Management Sales Department (50%)

  • Prepares and compiles new customer information to open new checking and savings accounts, ensuring collection of all necessary Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation.
  • Assists in completing the onboarding documentation for new and existing Treasury Management clients, ensuring all documentation is received at the time of sale, correct analysis codes are used, and all regulatory and compliance requirements are met.
  • Prepares Treasury Management client reviews.
  • Effectively communicates with clients in a timely and professional manner when inquiries are received.
  • Maintains a calendar for client annual reviews.
  • Understands Treasury Management analysis billing and assists clients with inquiries.
  • Assists with SNB Corporate card paperwork and client demo training.
  • Upon the receipt of executed agreements, acts as a liaison between TMS and TMO to ensure appropriate risk assessment forms are completed, training is scheduled, and the client is set up for online banking at account opening. 
  • Schedules follow-up with clients to ensure proper product set up and completion of post-implementation training.

 

Provide Sales Assistance for Treasury Management Sales Department (30%)

  • Maintains up-to-date working knowledge of all treasury products and merchant processing services.
  • Maintains current treasury management agreements, databases, and file correspondence.
  • Enthusiastically responds to customer inquiries and any requests regarding accounts with a sense of urgency. Works with the appropriate team to resolve issues and follows up with customer promptly.
  • Assists TMS with merchant processing tasks including onboarding assistance, chargeback research, PCI compliance, merchant activity onboarding and profitability.
  • Understands new online platform and can assist clients with demos and any customer service questions.

 

Provide support and training assistance for internal departments (20%)

  • Provides treasury expertise to our internal business partners ensuring inquiries are promptly and courteously resolved.
  • Identifies and corrects system and communication issues with existing clients and participates in improvements of processes which may include special projects.

 

Performs other duties as required and assigned.

  • Ability to call on customers via telephone and in-person (as appropriate) to assist in the sales process and identify additional sales opportunities.

  • Ability to work multiple priorities simultaneously, meet deadlines, and remain flexible in an ever-changing environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in skills with Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Professional level skills in communicating effectively verbally and in writing with clients and internal partners.
  • Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas.
  • Ability to complete required compliance training by assigned due date.
  • Ability to maintain predictable and reliable attendance.

 

EDUCATION* 

  • Minimum of a High School degree required; Associates degree with emphasis in business or finance, a plus.

 

EXPERIENCE*

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Treasury sales or Treasury implementation role required.
  • Experience within the banking industry required.
  • FISERV system experience including Navigator, BPM and Access Manager is a plus.  
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) recommended.
