Responsible for Commercial Insurance and support of NBISCO Agency goals and objectives
Current Property and Casualty license required
RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitate and actively manage commercial business opportunities to include marketing/quoting and binding, handling phone calls, emails, and market/coverage inquiries.
Ability to remarket/quote renewal accounts to obtain competitive coverage/cost ratios to retain customers.
Actively upkeep/document Agency Management System with all file notes including all correspondence and policy related documents.
Research and compile answers to current client policy and coverage questions.
Facilitate and actively manage relationships with multiple carriers and producing
Handle miscellaneous policy servicing, such as binders, certificates of insurance, auto ID cards, policy changes, suspense items, monthly expirations, and various tasks.
Prepare all documents to be mailed to appropriate agencies and /or companies as per guidelines of agency.
Provides back-up as needed due to absences or workload within Agency Services and assists with other office tasks as necessary to support job function and agency activities.
Actively engage in the Agency Services goal and strategic planning
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum three years of insurance industry experience; Commercial underwriting experience a plus
Current Property and Casualty license
AMS360 or Applied (TAM or EPIC) software experience preferred
Knowledge of Insurance and/or Brokerage business
Knowledge of computer software packages, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
