Join our growing team! Using sound business and banking practices, this individual, experienced in Commercial Credit Analysis and Relationship Management, will originate, manage and service commercial loans.  Provide professional service and consultation for customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identifying and developing new commercial loan relationships.
  • Identifying and developing new deposit relationships.
  • Interviewing clients and prospects seeking Commercial loans.
  • Collecting and analyzing financial and related data to determine general creditworthiness.
  • Structure loan terms and conditions that meet the clients needs and the Banks’ lending guidelines.
  • Recommending approval or declination of loans within established Bank policies and informing prospective borrower of decision.
  • Manage loan portfolio including renewals, modifications, updater credit analysis, collections, and portfolio management.
  • Assist in developing strategies to market commercial loan products to new and existing customers. Develop and maintain relationships.  Provide services, analysis, and consultation on an ongoing basis. 
  • Ensure a high level of credit quality. Ensure that the commercial portfolio is in compliance with all bank and regulator policies and regulations.
  • Ensure that all commercial loan documents are properly prepared and loan files are kept current and relative.
  • Assist in the process of developing strategies that maximize the growth, earnings and efficiencies on a short (1 year) and long term (3-5 years) basis.
  • Frequently attend community functions.
  • Serve on community boards and committees as requested.
  • Exhibits professional behavior and promotes positive working relationships. Practices WCB values and supports the goals and strategic plans of the Bank.  Conducts personal finances in a manner consistent with the Employee Handbook and Code of Business Conduct.   Accountable for continuous best efforts to complete the job assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
  • 3 - 5 years general banking experience
  • 1 - 3 years direct experience in commercial lending
  • Must have the ability to read, understand, analyze, and interpret credit and financial information.
  • Strong understanding of credit underwriting
  • Must have the ability to relate to customers in a courteous and professional manner
  • Ability to sell, present and service bank products
  • Demonstrate a professional image with knowledge of commercial lending
